Stainless Steel 316 Pleated Filter Element With Filtration 1 Micron - 100 Micron
Our pleated filter elements adopt stainless steel non-woven sintered fiber and stainless steel wire mesh as the main filter material.
The stainless steel non-woven sintered fiber is a porous and depth filter media which is sintered by stainless steel fiber under high temperature. The highest filter rating is 3 micron. This kind of pleated filter elements with non-woven fiber enjoy the advantage of high porosity, the large filter area, good dirty-holding capacity and reused.
The stainless steel wire mesh is woven by stainless steel wire mesh. This kind of pleated filter elements have good strength, not easy to be detached, easy to wash,anti-temperature and good price. The highest filter rating is 1 micron. The pleated filter elements are mainly used in filtration of high-molecular polymer, pharmaceutical, hydraulic fluid and high temperature gas.
Cleanability of Stainless Steel Pleated Filter Elements
Our stainless steel wire cloth pleated filter elements are ideal for hostile or severe environments and applications. That is why cleanability is so important. All of our wire cloth stainless steel filter elements are easily restored back into service by back flushing, ultrasonic or other non-abrasive cleaning techniques. When used in filtration applications involving hazardous fluids, the cleanability of our stainless filter elements can significantly reduce disposal costs.
Specification of pleated filter elements
Material | SS 304,SS 304L,SS 316,SS 316L,Monel,Inconel,SS904L,duplex steel 2205,etc. |
Application | Catalyst recovery in Petrochemical & Chemical * Polymer Filtration * Gas Filtration * Oil Filtration |
Stainless steel cartridge elements are designed to overcome the temperature and chemical compatibility limitations of fabric or synthetic fiber media. This will offer very high temperature resistance & can withstand high differential pressure. Stainless steel cartridge elements are offered in SS 304, SS 316, & SS 316 L materials. These elements can be plain cylindrical or in pleated configuration to increase filtration area. Normally all stainless steel pleated & cylindrical filters are supported with coarser filter media to ensure no direct damages to main filtering media under process upsets. A bubble point test can be done to certify that no opening larger than the specified pore size exist in product joints or seams. No media migration occurs due to stainless steel material. These elements can be back washed & reused.
